What Pharmix is
Pharmix Dev (“Pharmix”) is a marketplace. It connects licensed pharmacies (retailers) with distributors and manufacturers, and patients with licensed pharmacies near them. Pharmix does not itself sell, stock or dispense medicines: every sale is between you and the licensed pharmacy or distributor named on the order, who is responsible for the goods, the invoice and compliance with drug law.
Accounts
You sign in with your phone number. Keep access to it secure — orders placed from your account are treated as yours. Pharmacies and distributors must give true licence, GST and business details and keep them current; an account can be suspended if they lapse or are false.
Prescription medicines
Prescription-only medicines (Schedule H, H1 and X) are dispensed only against a valid prescription that the dispensing pharmacist has verified. You can upload a prescription, but an order containing such a medicine cannot be placed until the pharmacist has verified it, and the pharmacist may refuse or limit what is supplied. Some medicines (for example Schedule X and narcotic drugs) may need further checks or may not be available for delivery. A pharmacy ordering scheduled medicines from a distributor must hold a valid drug licence.
No medical advice
Pharmix gives no medical advice. Product information, substitutes and reminders are for convenience; they are not a recommendation to take or switch a medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Retailers and distributors
Prices, schemes, credit limits and delivery terms are set by each distributor. The price shown is indicative; the distributor’s invoice is final. Credit is extended by the distributor, not by Pharmix, and is subject to their terms. Near-expiry lots are sold as marked and cannot be returned on expiry.
Patients and home delivery
Your order is fulfilled and delivered by the pharmacy you choose. Delivery times are estimates. Hand-over needs the code we send you, so your order reaches only you. Prescription medicines may not be returnable once dispensed.
Prices, payment and returns
Online payments go through our payment gateway; Pharmix never stores card details. Cancellations, refunds and returns follow the rules shown on the order and the seller’s policy, and applicable consumer law.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no false prescriptions or licences, no attempts to obtain medicines without a valid prescription, no reselling of medicines bought as a consumer, and no interference with the platform or other users.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Pharmix is not liable for the goods themselves, which are the seller’s responsibility, or for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data. Questions or complaints: the support contact shown in the app.
